Dear KLA Parents,
As we prepare for the next school year, we want to make you aware of an important deadline concerning our Extended Day (After-School) Program. Beginning on Friday, May 18th, KLA will begin accepting Extended Day applications for the 2018-2019 school year. Applications will be available for pick up in the auditorium once the campus is opened for the day. Online applications will also be available on the front page of KLA’s website under the “recent news” section beginning Friday, May 18th at 7:30 AM. It is important to note that applications will be accepted on a “first come, first served” basis, and enrollment in EDP for the 2017-2018 school year does not guarantee enrollment for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. These policies are in place in effort to make the application process fair to parents and families due to the limited number of students that we are able to accommodate in our Extended Day Program.
The Extended Day Program is open to students of all grades who are enrolled in KLA for the 2018-2019 school year. Once your student’s application has been received, parents will be notified by telephone of their student’s application status as soon as possible. Deseamos avisarles sobre las fechas importantes para ingresar al programa que se ofrece despues de escuela “Extended Day Program.” Iniciando el Viernes 18 de Mayo se aceptaran aplicaciones para el programa para el ciclo escolar 2018-2019. Las solicitudes se haran disponibles en el auditorio a las 7:30am en Viernes 18 de Mayo. Esta solicitud tambien estara disponible por internet en la pagina de la escuela www.mykla.org navege hasta encontrar la seccion “recent news” a las 7:30 AM el mismo dia. Todas solicitudes seran aceptadas como sean entregadas/aceptadas. Les avisamos que no se garantiza ingreso aunque hayan sigo ingresados durante el ciclo escolar 2017-2018. Esta poliza se aplica con el proposito de llevar acabo el proceso de inscripsion de una manera justa ya que hay cupo limitado.
El programa extendido despues de clase“Extended Day Program” o EDP sirve a alumnos de todos grados inscritos completamente en la escuela para el ciclo escolar 2018-2019. Se le avisara si fue aprobada la solicitud por telefono indicado en la solicitud. Si tiene preguntas sobre la aplicacion por favor comuniquese al 619-263-9356.
