Ms. Cooper's Page

Welcome to KLA 5th grade families! My name is Ms. Cooper. I have been working at KLA since 2022 and I am excited to be returning as the 5th grade Science teacher this year!

 

I am a San Diego native and have devoted my teaching career to giving back to the communities that raised and educated me. I believe that a big part of education is having quality experiences and I strive to provide these opportunities for my students every chance I get.

 

My philosophy of education is that each child is unique and deserves an educational environment that is safe and stimulating. I strive to create a classroom where students have the structure and flexibility to meet their full potential. My students are invited to share their ideas, take risks, and bravely discuss their mistakes. Science is a messy subject and full of room to be curious and spontaneous.
