Ms. Esprit, CCC-SLP
Hello everyone!
I’m Ms. Esprit, and I’m KLA’s Speech-Language Pathologist. I work with students across TK–8th grade who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and receive support for communication needs. I also support students without an IEP through consultations, RTI, and other services as needed. Outside of work, I enjoy weightlifting, coaching the KLA cheer team, listening to audiobooks, and exploring new places with friends. I earned my bachelor’s degree from California State University San Marcos and my master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from San Diego State University. As someone who was once a student in special education, I understand how important it is for children to feel encouraged and believed in. My goal is to help each student recognize their strengths and work toward their communication and academic goals in ways that are meaningful to them. I believe students thrive when families, teachers, and the school team work together. This year, I hope to maintain open communication with families and teachers so we can work together to provide each student with the support they need to be successful. I look forward to getting to know your children, celebrating their progress, and making speech therapy a positive part of their school experience. I’m excited to meet everyone and have a wonderful school year together!
Don't forget: Your student’s consistent attendance plays an important role in their learning and overall success at school. We truly appreciate families who make regular attendance a priority and help support our school community by following school policies and procedures. Thank you for partnering with us to help your student have a successful school year!
With appreciation,
