Hello! My name is Ms. Acosta, and I am excited to be the 3rd–5th Grade Education Specialist Teacher at Keiller Leadership Academy.

I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Education Specialist Credentials in Mild/Moderate and Extensive Supports from the University of California, Irvine and California State University San Marcos. I have 20 years of experience in education, including experience in general education classrooms, independent study teaching, and after-school programming.

My goal as an educator is to create a learning community where students feel comfortable being their authentic selves and are encouraged to build upon their strengths while persevering through challenges. I believe in providing all students with meaningful access to a quality education and in working collaboratively with colleagues and families to support student success.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I especially love spending time outdoors and participating in outdoor activities together.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year and to getting to know each of my students and their families. I can't wait to learn, grow, and make great memories together!

Sincerely,

Leticia Acosta
