  • Our mission is to provide caring, affordable, high quality healthcare and supportive services to everyone, with a special commitment to uninsured, low income and medically underserved persons.

    Everyone is welcome at our health centers, including Medi-Cal, insured and uninsured patients. Many patients quality for programs that cover the cost of their care. If patients are uninsured and do not qualify for a program, their cost is discounted based on income and family size.

  • Current NHA programs range from early childhood education, youth development, mental health services, senior services, and more.


  • Community-Based Mentoring is the traditional Big Brothers Big Sisters' program, where Bigs and Littles get together on their own to share fun activities they both enjoy. The Community Program is flexible to accommodate a variety of schedules. Volunteers must meet with a child from 2-5 hours, 2-4 times a month for a minimum of one year.

  • The mission is to break the cycle of incarceration by mentoring children whose parents are or have recently been behind bars.The “collective mentoring” concept uses a “Village Model” instead of a one-on-one mentoring model.

    The Village’s children are supported, during a very challenging time in their growth and development, by competent and caring facilitators, who offer age-appropriate, structured activities in a nurturing environment.

  • The Boys and Girls Club of Greater San Diego, Encanto Branch is offering a free service to the local youth and families called Project Outreach. This 3 week program will educate students on the consequences of risky behavior, help re-direct youth by developing goal setting skills, and enable youth to serve in their community while connecting them with local advocates.
