Lesson 1: How do KLA leaders set themselves up for a successful week?

Organization:

**Check Student Agendas

Organizing student agendas

-hand out student agenda rubric

-go over student agenda rubric with students

- give students time to self assess their student agendas according to the rubric

 

Leadership Studies:

READING THE WEEKLY BULLETIN

1) "Upcoming Events"- Have students jot down important dates in their agenda

2) Read the quote of the week and discuss questions

3) "KLA Way of the Week"

4) "Weekly schedule" - Have students decide which activities or tutoring they will attend for the week and write it down in their agenda

SETTING GOALS FOR THE WEEK

Go to weekly section of the agenda to the "Think" section at the top of the page.  Have students write 2 goals that they would like to accomplish this week.

11/28-12/2 REACH
